The house is constructed in the traditional old style with stone walls inside and out. The ceilings are made with large chestnut beams and terra-cotta bricks and the floors are primarily 'Cotto', a terra-cotta tile.
The property is in the community of Cortona in Tuscany bordering Umbria. You will find many walking trails and hundreds of miles of country roads for bicycling or car touring.
