Recently a snooker/pool table has been added for the enjoyment of guests.

Gozo is a fantastic holiday destination which offers peace and tranquility yet plenty of activities. The island's Blue Lagoon is a major draw to those who enjoy scuba diving or snokelling. Wine making due to the extensive reclamation of land with new vineyards and olive oil making is on the increase with a Wine festival being held annually during the last week-end in August. Scuba diving is well catered for by the numerous diving schools and by the many excellent diving sites which abound around the Island.
May to end September is also the feast season where every town and village organise their own Patron saint fest every week-end.
Ramla l-Hamra Bay is also Gozo's largest sandy beach, excellent spot for all families and couples who want to relax and unwind next to unspoilt clear blue mediterranean sea.
Christmas in Gozo is still celebrated in a very traditional way where family values are held in esteem. Many local decorate their homes by putting baby Jesus in the front window of the house and put decorative lights around. Street lights are also put up especially for these special days with many local people joining processions on Christmas eve.
Gozo carnival is celebrated in February and is very different from the one held in Malta due to the spontaneous use of different costumes. |
