1 hour north of Alicante Airport and 75 minutes drive south of Valencia. The closest beach is a few minutes walk and is a rocky cove, with a small amount of sand. In summer there is a beach bar. There are many such coves and beaches along the coast.
Moraira, which is 5 minutes drive away, has a lovely sandy beach in the heart of this pretty town. Calpe is 15 minutes drive and offers an enormous sandy beach and the Penon Ifach, a mini Gibralter, which those hardy enough can climb to the top of for a spectacular panoramic view.
The mountains act as a dramatic backdrop to the area and offer fantastic walks and hikes.
There are plenty of gold courses nearby and Aqualandia water park and Montemar theme parks are under an hour away. Inland explore the impressive mountain region and the lovely Jalon Valley with its thousands of Almind trees and excellent restaurants. Eat out somewhere different every night (and lunchtime) of the year. Take advantage of the menu del dia, around 8 Euros or so for a three course meal.
Water sports abound and there are plenty of weekly markets to enjoy in Moraira and the surrounding towns. The absence of high rise accommodations have allowed the charm of this area to be retained. The mayor lives in Moraira so he has a vested interest !!

The villa is on 2 levels connected by a traditional, Valencian, outside stairway.
The main entry/upper level has 2 bedrooms (Kings or twins) a large family bathroom with bath and walk in shower, plus a 2nd separate WC with handbasin, a hallway, living room open plan to dining area and fully fitted kitchen with all amenities.
Downstairs/pool side level has 3 bedrooms, the master with a king/twin beds and an ensuite bathroom with bath and walk in shower. There is a separate shower room/WC plus 2 further twin bedrooms and a child sofabed. A cot and highchair are available.
The living room is open plan to the American style kitchen with breakfast bar. Each level has a terrace.
The blue mosaic private swimming pool is surrounded by extensive terraces and palm trees (hence the name) and is peaceful and private. BBQ area with stone BBQ, driveway and off road parking.
A/C and central heating throughout
House towels are provided. |
