Casa Capella is some 400 metres above sea level in northern Umbria, on the east facing slopes of Monte Corona overlooking the Upper Tiber Valley, which runs north from Perugia up the backbone of Italy into the hills east of Florence.
The surrounding landscape is a verdant mix of copsed oak woodland, umbrella pines, fruit trees, fields of sunflowers, olive trees, vines and vegetables.
The house is located, next to a little chapel, in a quiet hillside hamlet some ten minutes drive from the bustling market town of Umbertide - with its wide variety of shops, cafes, bars and excellent restaurants.
An extensive network of good roads and motorways makes this an excellent base from which to explore the historic towns of central Italy - Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto, Orvieto, Todi, Gubbio, & Arezzo, to name but a few.

Outside
Charming walled garden offering opportunities for sun and shade, complete with table, chairs and sun umbrella for dining al fresco, wall seats. Hillside garden with superb views over the surrounding countryside, terrace and large circular table with seats.
Parking for 2 cars. Approached up a leafy winding road, access to Casa Capella is off a minor lane with minimal traffic.
Out & About
Perugia and Lago Trasimeno are less than 30 minutes' drive away and the historic centres of Arezzo, Cortona, Gubbio, Orvieto, Siena, Spoleto and Assisi are all within easy reach. Readily accessible motorways bring the Adriatic beaches, Florence and Rome within a few hours drive.
