. Just installed, the Arbris des Piscine which we feel is a very attractive and necessary feature for lets outside of July and August as it does create a subtropical and calm ambience around the pool and large terrace. Simiulates a Indoor Spa.
Swim from April - mid November, pool temperature now in April are 24 degrees. Large patio doors at each hand will allow cool breezes if required, entire cover is retractable in summer to create an outdoor pool.

We had a fabulous time. The Gite is excellent, some of the best holiday accommodation we have stayed at. Although we have holidayed in France for many years, and this is our second stay at the Villa Guillaumes. The new dome over the pool is a brilliant addition. You can now swim in the pool in April and even in the early morning as the pool retains its heat. Thanks once again for a superb holiday, we will tell all of our friends. See you again next year. Pool and Terrace is private and exclusive to the apartment to this 2 bedroom apartment.
For one bedroom, deduct 20% of the quoted price.
Pool and Arbris are private and for the sole use of each individual let. The apartment therefore is let exclusively with pool either as one bedroom or two bedrooms and is not shared with any other party.
Prices reflect the luxury and spaciouness of this apartment, all 100 sq. m, the same size as a modern , small three bedroom villa.
Changeover day is SATURDAY TO SATURDAY. In low season, other start days are possible.
Linen and towels included, 100% French cotton linen, please bring your own beach towel.
Check in time is 4pm, Check out at 10 am.

Bike Hire at 10 Euros per day.

Marseillan
A typical French small town with the spirit of a fishing village. Just two mins walk to the main port, restaurants, cafes, town centre and Tuesday market. Many facilities stay open year round to serve this vibrant community and our coastal position means miles of sandy Med beaches are just an 8 min drive.
Food and Drink. Famous for its oysters from the Étang, and for the aperitif Noilly Prat. The 25 restaurants with fresh seafood, wine growers to visit, three lively ports, and its colourful Tuesday market, all add to its charm. At least 300 restaurants around the Basin.
Local Activities. Miles of "Blue-Flagged" sandy Mediterranean beaches. Watersports, fishing, cruises to the oyster beds, along the river and up the canal. Brocante fair on Sunday, farmers markets abound, golf only 15 mins drive; and when night falls, casinos and amusement parks 8 mins drive.
Nearby. Montpellier beckons, the capital of the Languedoc, with museums, historical buildings and the Place de la Comédie for café culture. Around the Basin, port towns of Méze, Bouziques, Sète and Balaruc les Bains. Mountain villages like St Guilhem and Olargues for serendipity.
Further Description of Activities
Watersports - such as sailing and boating within minutes from the house .There are two sailing schools for all levels here. Dinghy and Catamaran Hire in the Pleasure Port, just a short stroll along the Lagoon.
Swimming - There are miles of sandy beaches at Marseillan Plage , just 10 mins drive away (4 miles) or a 20 minute bike ride along the Etang de Thau (salt lake), a painless ride along scenic flatland with nesting flamingoes and egrets.
River and Canal Cruises - the Canal due Midi starts here at the Etang. There are two sailing schools located in Marseillan.
Children's Playground - within walking distance
Tennis Courts -, bookable at the local town hall ( arie).
Golfing - at St. Thomas and Cap d'Agde golf clubs, only 15 mins. drive , reasonable green fees at 185 Euros for 5 days.
Brocante Fair (Antiques market) is set up every Sunday, about 10 mins by car .
Nocturnal Amusement Parks - three in the area .
Surrounding Area - Historical towns like Pezenas and Agde, St Guilhem le Desert , and further afield, the Pont due Gard in Nimes and vibrant Montpellier for excellent shopping . Scenic driving routes for whole day explorations and picnics by languid streams or stop by a little cafe for a little serendipity .
Mountains- in the hinterland where it is possible to hike , canoe and explore beautiful old villages like Olagues and St Guilhem le Desert .
Degustations - ( sampling of food and wine ) there are dozens of wine estates ( domains) to vist for local food and wine. Free tastings and legendary farmers' markets in abundance.
Nightlife and Casinos - in Cap d'agde for all nightbirds, Moule Frite restaurants stay open till the early hours.
