Bank, supermarket, butchers, bakers, tabac are in Montmoreau about 10 minutes drive.
Horse riding, canoeing, river beach, river activities, about 15 minutes. Lively & well run golf club with 3 tennis courts about 10 minutes. Lovely villages close by including Auberterre, voted one of the prettiest in France.
Bordeaux & Cognac are within easy reach, the Atlantic coast is about 1 hour 30 minutes.
