Sitting on the edge of the pond, one can see the silvery lustre of the Mediterranean on one side and, when the sky is clear, even the snow-capped mountain tops of the Pyrenees. On the other side of the house rise 200 m (630 ft) high sheer and mainly forested cliffs tower over the valley.
It is a special place to stay and relax in a magnificent natural setting without traffic and other tourists.

The estate “Bergerie Les Crozes” is a practical holiday resort of high quality where a friendly and specific atmosphere go hand in hand with a cosy design. An approximately 150-year old guest house with a newly build annex, a swimming pond and a “Pond House” are integrated in an area of over 10.000 m² (2.5 acre). All this is situated in the South of France, in the Hérault district in the mountains near the Mediterranean Sea. It is embedded in an area of 100 hectares (250 acres) nature area, and therefore screened off completely from streets and neighbours. Here you can settle for a lovely holiday, mainly inspired by peace, quiet and the beauty of nature. Clean water originates from our own source and our solar panels provide plenty of power.
Both the Bergerie and the Pond House can be rented as holiday houses. The Pond House is located 25 metres (25 yd) below the Bergerie. Neither of the two holiday houses with adjacent terraces can be seen from the other and consequently there can be no disturbances by music or children playing. Each house has its own parking space and access from the road.
You can spend your holiday in a nice calm way. For those who would like to spend time with friends or relatives but also appreciate independence, it would be ideal to rent both holiday houses. Only the pool and the swimming pond are used by guests of both homes.
Natural materials, such as natural stone and plenty of wood — also in the bathrooms — give the guest rooms with a congenial atmosphere. During the wintertime, a mural heating system provides a cosy climate.
An added attraction for music lovers is be the Schimmel baby grand piano in the dining room. The key is available upon request.
The bedrooms continue the main themes of the house: walls of natural stone adjoining walls painted in harmonious pastels and earth tones. The wooden floor has been treated with water-based natural oil. The house's wooden support beams are visible and glass panes have been place above some of the doors. Much attention has been paid to details to create a comfortable and aesthetic atmosphere. If you would like to use the house for 8 people, we will ad two beds in the biggest bedroom.
