It is only a five minute stroll into the village of Guia, where you will find a bank, chemist, post office, butchers, bakers, newsagents and small supermarket, in fact everything you would need is on your doorstep. We would recommend car hire to make the most of your stay - a five minute drive will take you to the Algarve Shopping Centre, this modern complex has numerous shops & boutiques, cinemas, bowling alley and fast food outlets & restaurants.
The town of Albufeira is only a 10 minute journey and has something for all of the family from shopping & cafes to restaurants & discos. Zoomarine (including swimming with dolphins), water parks, the beautiful sandy beaches of Gale & Castelo, and the historic towns of Loule & Silves are well worth a visit. Slightly further afield, the towns of Lagos and Portimao, or a trip to the Monchique mountains make a nice day out. There are numerous golf courses within a thirty minute drive and the nearest, Salgados, is only about three miles away.

Bom Dia and Welcome to Villa Jolu. Furnished to a high standard, this well designed and spacious, air-conditioned villa offers all the comforts of home, coupled with panoramic views of the countryside from the 1st floor terrace. Centrally located, it provides easy access to the best of all the Algarve has to offer. The village setting offers a certain level of peace and privacy and yet is just a short 10 minute drive from the centre of Albufeira, top golf courses, beautiful beaches and secluded coves. Whether you prefer a day of Golf, a relaxing family break, sight-seeing, activities on the beach, or just soaking up the sun, Villa Jolu will provide the ideal base for your holiday. Whilst it is only a short walk into the village, where you will find numerous restaurants, why not take advantage of the large BBQ and try your hand at some Algarvian cuisine, washed down by a glass or two of the local wine of course!
Off the large reception hall, is an en-suite bedroom with a double & single bed, being on the ground floor it is convenient for people who find the stairs difficult. There is also a downstairs WC. The large, comfortable lounge leads out onto a covered terrace, overlooking the pool. The newly fitted kitchen leads to a large sunroom, which is the ideal place to enjoy your breakfast. Upstairs, another ensuite bedroom offers a king-sized bed and cot. there is also a twin room with ensuite shower room, and another twin room with adjacent shower room, and the 1st floor terrace offers views all the way to the coast. We aim to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, and provide many of the comforts of home including TV with Sky and a water softening system which eliminates the need for bottled water, as well as all the essentials such as toaster and iron & board. We do however ask that you provide your own towels for use around the pool or at the beach.
To offer you a warm welcome, a pack of essential items will be waiting for you on your arrival.
We aim to make Villa Jolu an enjoyable place to stay for families with children of all ages, and as such we are pleased to provide the following items as standard: Stairgates, Cot & Bedding, High chair, Potty & Baby Bath. We understand that travelling with young children can be difficult, (and seriously eat into your luggage allowance!), so to help we can offer, by request, the use of a stroller, microwave steriliser and playpen, and we can arrange for essentials such as nappies, wipes and formula to be there too, so please ask for details - we are happy to help.
We are able to assist with car hire, or arrange an airport transfer for you. We also offer discounts on golf packages on trips you may wish to take or any tourist attractions you may like to visit.
