Le Gouelou is the principle property of a small hamlet located 2 miles North of the market town of Callac in central Brittany. It is less than one hour from the ferry port of Roscoff and within reach of several regional airports.
This splendid 15th century Brittany farmhouse is set within its own tranquil grounds and is available to rent directly from the owners at reasonable rates. The property has many original features of a typical Breton farmhouse including a spiral stone staircase, beams, flagstone floors and a granite fireplace. The main farmhouse comprises of four bedrooms, suitable for sleeping 2-10 persons. The first adjoining gite has one double bedroom, and a sofa-bed downstairs, making it suitable for sleeping 2-4 persons. The second gite will have two double bedrooms and a sofa-bed downstairs, making it suitable for sleeping 2-6 persons. All of the separate properties are complete with fully fitted kitchens. This includes a gas cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, television/video, radio/cassette and a washing machine. One of the luxuries that these properties have to offer is that all of the entire ground floors have been installed with under-floor heating!
