The beach is a quick walk down the hill and is a safe bathing beach with toilets and a tidal pool that’s ideal for children (currently under repair but acts as sheltered beach). Fishing is great off the rocks. Dolphin trips, quad biking, microlighting, riding, Gateway shopping mall and entertainment complex, casino, croccodile farm and zulu cultural village all within short drive. Durban approx. 40 min, airport, 1000 Hills approx. 45 min, Big 5 game park/St Lucia, Midlands Meander, Zululand attractions approx. 2 hours
Our average summer temperatures are 24’C – 30’C (October – May) and in the winter it is an average of 20’C. Brilliant! The sea is warm too – about 20’C in summer and 18’C in winter.
