La Jolie Maison is situated in the heart of Le Langon, a small farming village in the beautiful Vendee. Nearby is the wonderful medieval town of Fontenay le Comte, & the Historic & romantic city of La Rochelle. ( only 40 mins drive approx.)
The fantastic sandy beaches of the Vendee are only a short drive away, including, La Sable De L'Onne, La Tranche sur Mer & many many more, offering all things for all types, whether you want a tranquil time to just soak up the sun or you like water sports, such as surfing & canoeing, all are on offer.
The spectacular Puy Du Fou re-enactment park is only an hour from here, words can not describe this marvellous day out, once seen, never forgotten!
The 'Venice vert' of the Vendee & Charente maritime, is another popular attraction. Cruise down the peaceful canals of the 'Marais Protevin', & marvel and all the fantastic wildlife, birds, butterflies, and much much more.
We are situated near numerous Airports, the closest being La Rochelle (40 minutes) but also Poitiers, Nantes, Limoges, Roquefort, are all within easy reach.
The ferry ports of St Malo & Caen are only 3-4 hours away.
