Our mobile home in La Carabasse is situated 0.25 miles from Vias Plage. 10 miles from Rochelongue Plage and 8 miles form Cap d'Agde - ideally situated for exploring the area.
French Motorail:
To travel to the beautiful South of France you can take the Motorail from Calais in the evning and arrive refreshed and relaxed to our mobile home. There are two routes available; Calais - Brive - Toulouse - Narbonne, and Calais - Avignon - Nice, there are two accomodation types; couchette (sleeps 4-6 adults) and a sleeper (sleeps 2 adults). Motorail not only saves you valuable holiday time but also on the cost of motorway tolls, fuel and ofcourse hotel bills!
Flying to the South of France:
This option is often the cheapest! Ryanairfly into Montpelier, Nimes, Carcassone and Perpingnan airport, which are all within 1hour to 1 hour 30minutes away. Soon to be opening is Beziers Airport which is literally 15mins away - making your dream holiday location even closer! British Airways also fly into Montpelier.
Vias Village:
Turn right when leaving the main gate of La Carabasse and follow the road toward the roundabout; continue straight on and follow the signs for parking on left which will lead you to the Church.
Enter the square and take a break at our friend Gilbert's bar 'The Azur Blue', sit and watch the world go by at a calm and easy pace with a coffee or a chilled glass of Chardonnay and perhaps a plate of Oysters - highly recommended :)
Saturdays and Wednesday are market days in Vias and are well worth a stroll around too, a perfect place to buy locally grown fruit and vegtables, cheese, pate and honey for a beach picnic. Most shops close between 12 and 2pm so bear this in mind before you set out.
Montpelier is a must for shopping addicts: Similar to London's Covent Garden, what seems like endless streets running off a large main square incorporating many well know stores inc: Zara, Mango and C&A, while also having many eclectic boutiques and cafes...comfortable shoes advised!
Spain:
Our home is only a 45mins drive away to the border of Spain, and is easily accessable by car or train, try to fit it in if you can as the scenery on the drive through is truly breathtaking.

Terms & Conditions - please read carefully
Booking:
A deposit of £100.00 per week is required at time of booking.
Full payment for your holiday must be received by 1st March 2007.
Bookings taken after this date must be paid in full at time of booking.
Availability:
Availability is given on a first come first served basis.
Cancellations:
It may be necessary to cancel your holiday due to illness, accident or change of circumstance. Please contact us immediately should this happen.
The Holiday Contract
The contract is made on the terms of these booking conditions.
Your Holiday
La Carabasse is intended mainly for family holidays. Single sex parties under the age of 21 are not permitted. Parties of young people may be accepted, but only at our discretion. Please enquire on booking.
Equipment Damage Deposit
A UK personal cheque of £130 is required on arrival and will cover the cost of any additional accidental damage to the accommodation, furnishing and fittings. This will be returned un-cashed after the accommodation has been checked on departure. Please ensure to enclose a S.A.E for this purpose and allow up to 14 days for its return.
General Information
Arrival & Departure
Accommodation is available from 4pm. You must claim your accommodation by 10am on the day after your holiday is due to start, otherwise your booking will be treated as cancelled with no refund given. It is your responsibility to inform us of any delays you may encounter. Accommodation must be vacated by 10am on your departure day.
Airport collection and drop off can be arranged for an additional fee should you require this, please let us know on booking.
Confirmation Letter / E-mail
Please check the details of your confirmation letter carefully. It will include details of your
holiday cost, deposit and balance due. Please contact me immediately if there are any errors.

Car parking
Only one car is permitted per booking. Second vehicle must be parked in site car park.
Swimming Pool
Pack conventional fitted swimwear; shorts or T-shirts are not be permitted in the pool. Inflatables etc are banned in the pool, and there is a general minimum height restriction of 1 meter for anyone using water slides.
Pets
Pets are welcome; as long as they are well behaved!
Barbecues
A charcoal barbecue is provided, but not charcoal. Restrictions on use may apply during the season. Please enquire at main reception prior to arranging.
Bed Linen and towels
Are included in your booking. Please advise on amount need.
Fun passes
Can be purchased, these cover access to the swimming pool, children's clubs, etc. Please enquire at time of booking.
Holidays outside July & August
The main holiday season in Europe is from the start of July to the end of August, when all facilities are in full swing. Whilst many facilities are available in June and early September, some may be unavailable, as the parc owners may open facilities at their discretion, depending on demand.
Prices are per 7 day week not per person.
Weekends and short breaks and late availabilty may be available. Holiday calander will be updated accordingly. Please enquire with us.
