I had a farm in Africa ......do you remember this sentence of Karen Blixen? Now you can rent a private villa in a private tropical parc in Africa .... Divine Dove is situated on the beach, in front of the nicest ocean you can imagine ... the wind is blowing in the palm trees and you are resting near the swimming pool with a fresh passion fruit juice after your big walk near the waves.
Now you have rested enough and it's time to go shopping in Diani, where the little supermarkets offer you all what is needed or what your fisherman didn't bring you this morning direct from the sea, or to go to sports ....
The day after, you need town ...you go to Mombasa and the mixture of culture will surprise you. A visit to the old town and to Fort Jesus will teach you about the foundations of Kenyan culture. Go to the big avenues to shop in many little houses where spices are near saris, shoes etc ..; a visit to the different markets is also a big discovery ...on the way back home stop in a very big supermarket and you believe you are back in Europe or North America ...Divine dove is waiting for you for a relaxing evening. You are too tired to eat at home?, OK! just take a taxi or your rental car to go in one of the numerous restaurants around and enjoy a Masai dance in one of the 4stars hotels around.
Going to Kenya without going in safari is like looking at a rose without smelling it!! but its OK all the taste are in the nature ...anyway if you want to enjoy the bush, the animals and the magnificence of thousand stars in the black sky, it's very easy to reserve a good safari at a reasonable price: Masai Mara (for me, the best !! ), Tsavo, Amboseli, Nakuru and others are waiting for your cameras ...
At around one hour drive on the way to Tanzania you can also give my best regards to the dolphins and the turtles at Wasini Island ....
Don't forget also to enjoy Divine Dove 's tropical garden and the gardeners will be happy to explain all those flowers to you.
