Experience this beautiful region of the Vendee, with its unique microclimate and 13km of soft golden sands, just a short walk away. There is also an abundance of things to see and do for all ages.
Sheltered from the South-West by the delightful Ile de Re, La Tranche Sur Mer lies on the Atlantic coast 66km north of the beautiful historic port of La Rochelle. Inland villages such as Moutiers Les Mauxfaits are practically untouched by tourism.
Local amenities close by include bakeries, butchers, greengrocers and restaurants, which are famous for their delicious seafood. There's also a large supermarket in the local charming town of La Tranche Sur Mer.
The safe, clean blue flag beach is within easy walking distance and excellent for children. Many water sports are catered for and there is great river and sea fishing.
A perfect base to discover the region's incredible countryside, it is excellent for walking, cycling, bird watching and golf.

A 20% booking deposit is taken at outset to secure the booking with the balance to be paid no less than 8 weeks prior to your stay.
We can accommodate any day turnovers, but we cannot accommodate Saturday's during peak season.
Prices include the use house and the cost of the cleaner. All bed linen and bathroom towels are also provided, but guests should bring their own beach towels.
A £150 breakage deposit is payable either along with the final balance, or on arrival. This will be returned within 1 week of your return.
