Most people will probably fly to Salzburg which is the nearest airport to Zell or to Innsbruck which is a little further. The Zell local bus company (Vorderegger) operates an airport link on most days of the week and costs approximately €19 each way. (The bus stop in Zell is approx 5 Min's from the apartment but often the bus driver will be happy to drop you at the door.) Otherwise the train runs from Salzburg main station direct to Zell and is a beautiful scenic ride throughout the Alps. Please note however that you will need to get from the Airport to Salzburg main station which is approx 15 Min's by taxi or local bus. The apartment is approx a 10 min walk from Zell train station but there are always taxis at the station as well. The town is a decent size and offers a good selection of restaurants, bars and cafes in the town and on the mountain. The quality and variety of food is excellent and prices affordable Prices are for the apartment for the week and are based on up to 6 people sharing. We are not VAT (MwSt)registered so there is no tax payable.
