The pretty village of Peyia is popular with visitors who like a taste of the real Cyprus village location but would like to be within easy reach of local amenities and restaurants . This very popular and friendly village is slightly elevated with stunning views of the sea and mountains all around you, the famous sandy beach at Coral Bay is five minutes away and can be seen from the village. The village has a very traditional feel to it with all of the village amenities located in the heart of the village square around an old Greek church. The village has an excellent bakery, delicatessen, supermarket , banks, doctor and a good choice of tlocal tavernals and restaurants.
Peyia is a ten minute drive away from the centre of the old town of Paphos, which has it's own international airport, the transfer time to Peyia from the airport is only fifteen minutes. Flights into Larnaca airport would be a transfer time of one hour.
A holiday in Cyprus offers something for everyone, places of historic interest, beautiful scenery and beaches, choice of Golf courses, nightlife, water parks, shopping. To really appreciate all that Cyprus has to offer we would strong recommend hiring a car. English is the second language and driving in Cyprus is the same as in the UK and all road signs are in English.
