To the front there is a large patio with beautiful views over the village of Lanjaron and the surrounding mountains. Lanjaron can be walked to by one of its many mule tracks.

Lanjaron is situated half way between the coast at Motril/Solebrena, Costa Tropical and Granada on the N323/E902.
The nearest airport is Granada with daily flights from Gatwick with Monarch, Stanstead and Birmingham with Ryanair. Malaga has many flights from all UK airports with most other airlines. It is about 2 hours drive either along the very pretty coast road to Motril and then up to Lanjaron or a little further distance but the quicker motorway to Granada and down to Lanjaron. A little further is Almeria airport if need be but not usually used by our clients.
Lanjaron is very central for everyone:- Granada city only 40minsa drive with its famous Alhambra Palace, many other places of historical interest and a lovely shopping area with open plazas to eat in busy, atmospheric and relaxing. Costa Tropical is also only 40mins drive with either little beach coves or fishing villages or towns with a little more but still with the traditional feeling, beach bars (serving sardines cooked on the barbecue) etc. Today on the beach and tomorrow up the Sierra skiing only another 30mins up from Granada. Also a favourite day out is up and around some of the beautiful white villages, Pampaneira, Bubion, Capilieira, Travelez only to name a few, with their local arts and craft, rug making, pottery and Trevelez with is famous 'Jamons', and also being the highest village in Europe.
Lanjaron itself is a Spar town, visited by many Spanish for its healing waters. Still very much a backward little town, with plenty of local shops and many bars and eating places still with free tapas for every wine and beer. The tourists are made very welcome by all the locals and you will often come across flemenco being played, sung or dances in the bars or the street, and fiestas are celebrated at a drop of a hat! Fiesta lovers don't miss Santa Samana - Easter -obviously religious, very moving and interesting or the very famous water fiesta at San Jaun, 5 days of excitement at the end of June around the 23rd/24th.
