The Resort
The resort includes miles of beautiful unspoiled beach, a selection of bars and restaurants, leisure spa, tennis courts, football pitches and a commercial centre with shops, medical centre and bank - all within easy walking distance of the apartment.
The 5 star Oliva Nova Hotel has a selection of indoor and outdoor restaurants and bars and hosts regular evening entertainment for guests and visitors. The hotel's spa has a lovely indoor pool and offers a wide range of treatments. The hotel also has a children's club in peak season to keep the kids amused.
The commercial centre boasts a small supermarket, patisserie, bank, café, bars, take away, medical centre, hairdresser and boutique.
The resort boasts the Costa Blanca's only PGA Approved Championship golf course with all the top-level golf facilities you would expect:

The Area
Oliva Nova is situated 3 km south of the traditional Spanish town of Oliva. Oliva is an unspoiled, charming town relatively untouched by tourism. The town has three distinct areas: the old town with its narrow, quaint streets, the Paseo area with weekly market and a good selection of bars and restaurants and also the beach area on the coast. As with most of Spain, Oliva celebrates many fiestas during the year. These are always a treat for visitors – especially the Moors and Christians festival in July where you can stay up all night to watch a re-enactment of the early morning beach invasion.
Popular with the Spanish, the holiday resort of Gandia is 10km away, and has also offers many bars and restaurants as well as good shopping and a popular, if busy, beach area.
12 km south of Oliva Nova is the more traditional holiday town of Denia. Known for its castle, modern marina, and long beach as well as a good selection of restaurants, Denia town centre is within a 25 minute drive of Oliva Nova and is highly recommended for an evening out.
Also nearby are other popular coastal resorts of Javea, Moraira and Calpe. The coast is more rugged in this area, and is popular for snorkeling. Inland you will find beautiful Spanish villages perched on mountainsides, as well as several nature reserves such as the Montgo or “Sleeping Elephant” between Denia and Javea.
Sport
The Costa Blanca can offer a wide range of sports from gentle hill walking in the Montgo National Park to water sports such as scuba diving, kite surfing and jet skiing. The beach at Oliva has several water sports centres where equipment rental and tuition are available.
This hilly area is also extremely popular with cyclists and athletes who often use this part of the Costa Blanca to prepare for professional races. Go-carting, mini golf and horse riding are also available nearby, with many being bookable in advance.
Tourist Attractions
Oliva Nova is an ideal base for visiting tourist attractions from Valencia down to the Alicante area. The Costa Blanca has something to offer everyone, from theme parks and water parks to open top bus tours of the beautiful city of Valencia. Another popular attraction at Valencia is the spectacular Oceanografic Centre.

The Apartment
Our second-floor apartment can be reached by lift or stairs. Accommodation comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, lounge/dining room, and kitchen with utility area. The apartment is fully air-conditioned/heated and also has a lockable garage.
The large free-form pool (with separate kids paddling pool) is shared by a small number of apartments and guests often find they have it to themselves.
The large lounge/dining room is furnished with a large sofa (which converts to a very comfortable double bed if required), dining table and chairs, additional chairs and coffee table. If you want to stay indoors there is satellite TV, DVD player and a selection of DVDs, CDs, books and games to keep you amused.
The balcony is equipped with patio table and chairs and offers beautiful views over the exceptionally large pool, the golf course and beyond to the beach.
The spacious kitchen is equipped with oven, 4 ring hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, toaster and a full range of crockery, cutlery, pans and utensils.
Both bedrooms have 2 single beds which can be pushed together to create a double bed. Both have large built-in wardrobes and bedside drawer units giving plenty storage space for your clothes. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom including a full-size bath with shower and a bidet. There is also a shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC. The master bedroom is equipped with a radio/alarm clock and also gives direct access onto the balcony.
A welcome pack is provided for your arrival and we can arrange the rental of cots, high chairs and most other equipment you might need.
We also provide thoughtful extras such as beach towels, hairdryer, UK electric adaptors and sun-loungers for use by the pool. |
