Ideally suited to children over the age of 7 yrs or small babies as the owners have 3 friendly dogs who remain in their own fenced gardens. Well behaved dogs can be accommodated for a 20 euro charge. A cot can be supplied on request. Please supply your own cot linen. All bed linen and house towels are supplied. No smoking is allowed in the property. Please ensure you have cancellation/holiday insurance. Fans can be rented at a rental of 15 euros per week per fan in hot weather. In the cooler month heating is charged at 20 euros per week and logs can be purchased on site extra by previous arrangement.

This gite is independent and seperate within the main farmhouse, and consists of 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin). There is a shower room, fully fitted kitchen with a dishwasher & a sitting room that leads out onto a secluded covered terrace with outstanding views of the garden and the lovely private swimming pool. There is a covered terrace by the pool for relaxing, dining or preparing food on the BBQ (meat & vegetable packs are available to be purchased if wanted). The gardens Le Berme offers a truly relaxing holiday in stunning landscaped gardens surrounded by woodland with many rare varieties of trees. Situated less that 2 km from Castillonnes a typical bastide village founded in the middle ages. Le Berme borders the grande randonnees or pilgrims route, a well trodden path stretching from Belgium to Spain offering a number of marked routes for walking, horse riding or cycling (bikes available for hire). There is an abundance of wildlife including coypu, deer, green frogs, and a variety of birds including hoopoe, long eared owls, red kite, eagle, and many buzzards, kestrels and other birds of prey.
