Once part of an old stone farmhouse, La Chouette nestles in the hamlet of Locunéhen looking out across fields to woodland. Independently accessed, the cottage offers generous accommodation for two people, & the family bedroom can sleep one or two young children.
It takes 5 mins to fetch croissants for breakfast, and meals can be taken outside in the sun or under the shade of the walnut tree.

Quistinic is situated in the heavily-wooded Blavet valley where the river turns sharply towards Hennebont and the coast. Just along the valley the restored 16th century hamlet of Poul Fétan has been brought to life. Visitors may watch demonstrations of rural tasks of that period, take a drink and snack at the bar, and buy local crafts.
During summer months at nearby Pont Augan one can hire kayaks, relax over a restaurant meal, take a pleasure boat to see more of the countryside bordering the river, or enjoy a cycle ride along the towpath. Many visitors bring their own bikes to explore further into the countryside. The river itself is ideal for fishing, with little water traffic, easy access to banks, and abundant variety of fish. For those who wish to relax Quistinic is an ideal location, and days can be spent without travelling far afield. However, there is much to explore within the region in any direction.
Seafood enthusiasts can indulge their appetites at excellent quayside bar/restaurants in St Goustan, Auray, or choose salads and freshly-baked pizzas. The historic walled town of Vannes with its timber-framed buildings and cobbled streets offers a wide range of interesting shops to browse. Each major town holds its summer celebration: the ten-day Inter-Celtic Festival in August draws crowds from far and wide to Lorient.
At the end of an active day it is good to return to one's own space in the comfort of La Chouette!

Saturday is changeover day in-season, though negotiable at other times.
We require a 25% deposit to confirm your booking, and the balance (with security deposit) six weeks before the start of your holiday.
Our rates are based on two people. A supplement per person per week will be charged for any extra visitor.
Linen provided including T towels, but no towels. These can be made available if required.
