The Peloponnese never fails to surprise us with its abundance of historical sights, natural beauty and clear blue waters. The resort of Tolo offers a perfect location for days of sunbathing and relaxed evenings eating in tavernas set at the edge of the sea. Nafplio is truly beautiful and needs to be visited several times to discover all the secret corners of this town. The little shops offer many interesting artistic items and a morning spent wandering through the narrow streets is essential.

Tolo: This resort is just a kilometre away and offers all the essentials for the beach element of your holiday. It has lovely sandy beaches with sun loungers for hire and a full range of water sports available. It provides a variety of restaurants, many on the waterfront, from typical Greek tavernas to Italian bistros. It also has supermarkets, a post office and other useful little shops.
Places to visit: Essential visits are to the Ancient Theatre of Epidavros, Agamemnon’s Tomb at Mycenae and Nafplio Castle. We also recommend a visit to some of the islands located off the Peloponnese mainland. From Tolo, in the summer months, a ferry can take you to Spetses, Hydra and Poros, all absolutely delightful islands to spend a day on. Alternatively a lovely coastal drive takes you to a point from where you can catch a sea taxi over to Spetses.

What do you know about Greek wines? We can arrange a wine and ouzo tasting session for you at a shop in Nafplion. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly and speaks good English. A good way to spend an hour!
