The apartment is placed on the sought after complex of Verdemar 3 which offers indoor and outdoor communal pools, a sauna, spa and gym. The complex is situated on the beaches of the Mar Menor.
This region has on average 320 days of sunshine each year. With the low amount of rainfall it is an ideal place for your holiday in both summer and winter.
Playa Honda is an up and coming village with a selection of shops, restaurants and a supermarket.
The village is located on the edge of the famous Mar Menor which offers a whole host of water sports to suit anyone from novice to expert. The Mar Menor is also famous for The Black Mud which is said to releive pain from rheumatism, arthritis and many other ailments including some skin conditions.
The water temperature of the Mar Menor in summer reaches 30c and therefore is a good spot for families with young children as the Mar Menor also benefits from shallow waters.
The Mar Menor enables you to try your hand at many water sports including scuba diving, wind surfing and water skiing to name but a few. Even if you havn´t tried any of these before, there are skilled teachers who can guide you through and they have all the equipment you need. The land around the Mar Menor is relatively flat which makes it ideal for walking and cycling and bikes can be hired nearby.
The nearby villages have markets on varying days of the week and these provide a large selection of fruit & vegetables, meat, fish, household items and many other products.
A short car ride away there are many more shops and a further selection of restaurants which offer all kinds of dishes including French, Italian, Chinese, Asian, Argentinian and many more.
Also nearby are riding stables and a full sized go-kart track so you could try your hand at these as well.
