San Jose is in the Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata - Nijar. This is an extraordinary part of Spain, the only desert in Europe, and the landscape is different to anything you might have already experienced on holiday. Remember the spaghetti westerns? Fistful of Dollars was filmed here, along with many other similar films. Remember the scenery? Well, not a lot has changed!
