I Pianelli is situated in the Tuscan countryside, 23 km away from Siena and 3-4 km away from the villages of Vescovado and Murlo. Florence is one hour drive, Pisa is 2 hour drive, Rome 3 hour drive.
When you reach Siena on the motorway from Florence you should carry on straight ahead direction Grosseto. Go straight on for about 14 km until you come across the sign for "Fontazzi" on the left side of the main road. Bear left watching the signs for Vescovado and Murlo and passing the small settlements Fontazzi and Palazzina. Be careful not to take either right towards Casciano or left towards Radi. After 9 km past Fontazzi and 3 km before reaching Vescovado you find a sign on the right side of the road, that points "I Pianelli".
Coming from Rome you have to leave the highway A1 in Bettolle, Sinalunga and watch the signs for Siena. Don't get into the town but carry on straight ahead direction Grosseto, then follow the previous instructions.
