Las Coloradas is a fairly new and exclusive area in the sunny south of Lanzarote, surrounded by residential complexes together with some 5 star hotels, but still maintaining a quiet and relaxed position. The wonderful Papagayo Beach is a 10 minute stroll away, where swimsuits are not needed in certain parts!
In Las Coloradas there are some very good restaurants, sports bar, cafe, shops and a supermarket, and a childs play area. Take a 20 mins walk along the promenade, and you will come across the new Marina Rubicon, which has exclusive shops, wonderful restaurants,with the trendy Cafe Del Mar.This is a great place to be seen and enjoy a glass of wine(or two!) and watch the yachts and people. There is a new dive school for you explore the marine life of Lanzarote.Once a week, there is a market. Further along the 'prom' will take you into Playa Blanca itself and the Port, many more shops and restaurants for you to enjoy.
