From North West Hungary the best way is the get to Gyõr by the main road 1 or highway M1 than drive to Veszprém on the main road 82, than drive to Baltonfüred on the main road 73, than reach Tihany by the main road 71, the you can take ferry what can bring you to the south coast from the north coast of the lake Balaton.
