Beaches
Two long, wide, golden beaches extend for miles either side of the old town of Side, dipping gently down to a shallow sea, making it very suitable for children. The beach is lined with restaurants and offers windsurfing, parasailing, banana boats, jet skis, pedalos, basketball, snorkeling, scuba diving and horse riding.
Attractions
Side is a 45 minute stroll along the beach away. The town can also be easily accessed in ten minutes by local bus (dolmus) or taxi. Side is a great place for both archaeology buffs and beach-lovers. The old part of the town, dominated by a Greco-Roman amphitheatre, has been occupied on and off for well over 2,000 years. It is said that Anthony gave the town as a gift to Cleopatra because of its beauty. The thriving present-day town combines many ancient walls and buildings with modern structures. The temple of Apollo and the harbour offer perfect vantage points to watch the sun go down. There are also many restaurants, bars and cafes.

Shopping
There is a local shop within the complex for basic necessities including milk, fresh bread, cheeses and wine. A local Saturday market supplies fresh food and there is also a large supermarket nearby. The old town of Side is open every day for the sale of carpets, rugs, jewellery, leather, shoes, brassware and cheap fake designer clothing.

50% of the total rental is required as a deposit to hold a booking, with the remaining 50% due 28 days before departure. 100% of the rental is due at the time of booking if departure is within 28 days. There is no provision for children under the age of two. It is the responsibility of guests to arrange their own travel insurance. A refundable security deposit of £100 is required to cover any loss or damage. This will be returned within 14 days of the end of the stay.

Flights
Charter and scheduled flights direct to Antalya are available and depart from Gatwick, Stansted, Manchester and other cities throughout the UK and Europe. Antalya airport is located 54 miles west of Side and fifty minutes away by car on a good dual-carriageway. Bookings generally run Tuesday to Tuesday, but other dates will be accommodated if possible.
Airport transfer
Transfers can be arranged and guests will be met at the airport with a name board and delivered to the door and back again, day or night. Costs are in addition to house rental:

Welcome food pack
A pack providing what most people need on arrival can be ordered for an extra fee of £10. This includes biscuits, coffee, milk, sugar, tea, water, orange juice, cola, toilet rolls and washing-up liquid.
Special occasions
Why not order flowers or cake for that special occasion or to meet you on arrival. It is also possible to arrange someone to cook a traditional Turkish feast for you at the beach cottage.

Hotel facilities
Guests can pay a facilities fee at two hotels within ten minutes walk which offer swimming pools, tennis courts and Turkish baths. The hotels can be viewed at sidemarehotels and sunrisehotels
