Whatever your tastes there is something for everyone. There are over 600 bars, restaurants and clubs in and around Paphos. The food is good value and ranges from contemporary to traditional cuisine. Paphos has a number of clean sandy beaches within easy reach of the house. There are a number of important archaeological sites in Paphos, including the Roman Mosaics and Tombs of the Kings, which is near to the house. There is a picturesque harbour with it's ancient fort, where you can relax in a cafe or restaurant watching the pretty fishing boats bobbing up and down. From the harbour you can take a boat trip around the coast or go fishing. There is diving and para-cending nearby also. Away from the harbour a trip to the bustling old town and market is worthwhile. For the golfers, there are three championship golf courses within a twenty minute drive.
Further afield, hire a car and take trips out to the Troodos Mountains with it's ancient Kykos Monastery; the Birthplace of Aphrodite; not forgetting Limassol and Nicosia. In Nicosia, don't forget to walk the "green line" and visit the city museum.
