Costa Del Sol, the sunny coast of Andalucia where there are over 320 days of sunshine every year. The 'New Golden Mile' - miles of beaches many of them awarded the European 'Blue Flag' for cleanliness. Estepona is a charming old town with a great range of shops, plazas and busy nightlife and just a short 5min drive from the apartment. On the waterfront you can visit the Marina or choose from three beautiful long sandy beaches all of which offer a wide range of water sports. The Playa de Cristo is a cove with particularly safe bathing ideal for small children. Have a drink or enjoy freshly caught fish in one of the many beach bars known as 'Chiringuitos' which you will find all along the coastline. They are very good value for money. Puerto Banus is a 15min drive away where luxury yachts are moored at the marina. The centre for designer shops bars, nightlife and popular Saturday market. Gibralter is a 30min drive where you can visit the historic rock and enjoy duty free shopping. Try traditional Spain and visit the White Spanish Villages of Casares, Ben Havis, Mijas and Istan or take a pleasant walk through the pine forrests at Ojen. Within an hours drive through spectacular mountain scenery on a new road you will find the Spanish Village of Rhonda. A town steeped in history where you can enjoy tappas in one of the local bars. The old town is quaint and a joy to visit with many local craft and leather wear shops. A little further on you can visit the beautiful National Trust area the Lakes of Zahara.
Costa Del Sol renown for it's numerous Golf courses. Selwo Animal Adventure Park is a short walk from the apartment a real family day out. The location is ideal there is something on offer for everyone, restaurants, busy nightlife, beaches, mountains, water parks, markets, shoping or just relax in the complex and enjoy the tropical gardens and pool. The Sierra Nevada mountain range wraps the coastline with a continuous beautiful view wherever you go. |
