Pilari apartment is in the ancient village that is the farm heart and its origins are lost in the past. The oldest part of the village was built as a watch tower of Pierle castle near the XIII century. This castle was a very important fortress for Pierle valley and now it is a very important sign of the history valley. The watch tower basis was chiseled in the rock and you can still see this hard work in the wall of the cellar. During the time the tower became a farm house and the owner added other rooms so the house "grew". The last part was built in the 1922 and it is our house. The house restored is the rear of the village and since some years ago one part was the house of the last farm worker. This apartment is called Castagnolo because this is the nick name of this person.
Apartment Description:
this apartment is on two floors - on the first floor there is a sitting room with fireplace, one double bedroom with bathroom, kitchen, other bathroom and a terrace and on the second floor the other double bedroom. There is independent heating and in the kitchen there is a stove with four burners, fridge with freezer and all you need for cooking. In the sitting room there is a sofa bed.
Through the windows of the bedrooms and from the terrace you can see the wonderful view of Pierle castle surrounded by the green hills of Val di Pierle (Pierle Valley).
