The house is located in the woods (pine/beech) and lakes area, small local farms around, 20 miles away from the Baltic Sea coast. Good access 15-30 miles to Tri-city: Gdansk, Gdynia, Sopot - see below. The province (Polish administrative unit) is Pomorskie.
Nearest airport is Rebiechowo, Gdansk. We can pick you up and rent you a car.
When coming by car from Gdansk or Gdynia you take the main road to Wejherowo, passing the roundabout in Chwaszczyno (10 km from Gdynia, 15 from Gdansk) and next the village Kielno. Kamien is 15 km from Chwaszczyno on the way to Szemud (village) and Wejherowo (town). The village is situated in the vicinity of 5 lakes. 300 m to the nearest lake (Kamien Rybarnia). Pine and birch forests, some farming lands. A few grocerie stores are open till late hours (nearest 0.5 mile), post office, police, bank, surgery in the nearest village Szemud or Kielno (5 miles). 2 recommendable restaurants 5 miles away (Kielno, Chwaszczyno). A few churches, some historical ones in the area. Big supermarket in cities.

Gdansk - historic city with many sightseeing attractions, amber shops, boat trips, guided tours. Lech Walesa's city. Theatres, cinemas, pubs, discos etc. (also Sopot and Gdynia). Airport
Sopot - summer spa with lovely beaches, unique architecture, famous Monte Cassino street with numerous fish shops, cafes, restaurants, Aquapark, golf, tennis courts, exclusive shops, great pier, footpath along beach,
Gdynia - sailing port and city, more modern, excellent for shopping. Historic huge ships to see also inside, aquarium, marina and lots of boats. Kosciuszki Square - great tourist attraction.
Wejherowo - nearest small town with lovely market and traditional "Wenta" bakery/cake shop in the centre. Opportunity to try delicious Polish traditional cakes made from healthy products. Good for shopping - lower prices than in Tricity.
Puck - wonderful old fishing and sailing port at the Bay of Puck, with medieval church. Beaches for swimming or windsurfing. Excellent fishshop "U Budzisza" run by a fisherman. Stron folk accent.
Hel peninsula - excellent 1-2 day trip (40 miles) along the peninsula, wild beaches of the Baltic on one side, the Bay of Puck on the other, leading to the furthest point with the Light House via Jurata, Polish President summer villa. Aboundancy of restaurants, fish and chips shops (recommendable "U Emila" in Kuznica), souvenir stands etc. on the way.
