Paphos, the ancient capital of Cyprus for nearly eight hundred years, was founded in the 4th century B.C. Positively teeming with history dating back thousands of years, this pretty coastal town has been named by UNESCO as a world heritage site. Paphos is the birth place of the mythical goddess of love Aphrodite, who according to legend, emerged from the waves of the sea by the aptly named Aphrodite's rock just along Paphos coastline.
Today Paphos is an attractive resort town with its focal point centred around the old fishing harbour and medieval fort, dating back to the Byzantine era. Kato Paphos is much loved for its palm tree lined promenade and sheer abundance of open air cafes, ice cream parlours, bistros and tavernas directly on the sea front. Many sandy beaches are ideal for sunbathing, relaxing, walking or participating in a plethora of water sports including paragliding, jet skiing and scuba diving. Tennis, golf and cycling are just some of the activities available on dry land. Cultural events ranging from opera, art exhibitions and concerts to theatre held in the open air amphitheatre of Paphos are regularly organised. Booking reservations will be held for three days. A deposit of 25% of the full rental price is required to be paid to secure the booking and is non-refundable. The balance is to be paid eight weeks prior to the holiday. Full payment will be required for late booking reservation made within eight weeks of the holiday departure. We shall require £100 refundable security deposit.
All rates include air conditioning.

Car hire and taxis are available from Paphos Airport. Glad to suggest a hire company if you feel like renting. I can give you a number of a reliable taxis firm as well. Airport transfers can be arranged on request but tend to be a little more expensive. Full directions will be provided.
