The villa is by the beach on the coastal road from Ag. Apostoli to Oropos. Athens is only 50 min drive away, so day trips can comfortably be taken to various sites in the city - Acropolis, Plaka, Flea market, Museums etc. Other areas of interest can also be visited, as the property is close to motorways.
Athens airport is less than an hour away.
The village has a lively centre with a supermarket , shops, tavernas, cafes, two open air cinemas (July and August), a chemist and a doctor. The area is quite peaceful, apart from July and August which can get busy. The pebbly beaches are perfect for swimming and safe for young children. Oropos is a small town 8 Kms away with a busy high street and night life and one can catch a 30 min ferry ride to the unspoilt island of Evia, the second largest in Greece. |
