Our villa is within easy reach of all the major theme parks, shopping and restaurants. In fact because of the excellent roads, the parks are easier to reach than many of those who advertise shorter driving times.
We are only 1 hour from both Atlantic and Gulf beaches, and are surrounded by many lakes where there is a wealth of watersports, sailing etc.
Southern Dunes is a secure gated community, it also has a club-house with bar and restaurant. There are two communal pools, tennis courts and a children's play area as well as the golf course itself.
There is a 24hr Wal-Mart superstore on the entrance of the complex. Also nearby is a Win-Dixie Supermarket, Dollar shop, McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Chinese Take-away and restaurant, Blockbuster, banks and other shops.
Cypress Gardens has just re-opened and is only 15 mins away, and you can find excellent outdoor concerts there in the summer months.
In fact there is something for everyone, you are spoilt for choice.
