The accommodation comprises of two large double bedrooms and a further bedroom which contains twin beds with a set of pine bunk beds (optional). In addition to which you have a generously sized bathroom and additional shower room.
The first floor also includes a large, comfortable living/dining room with satellite television, video, stereo and large open fireplace. The kitchen/breakfast room is fully equipped with breakfast table and chairs, oven and microwave.
Local Area
The hill town of Castiglion Fiorentino is a matter of minutes away by car, and has loads of character and local charm, cobbled streets and a selection of shops to tempt you. There is a bustling market, which springs up each Friday throughout the year, full of local colour and is definitely worth a visit.
If it is sightseeing you are after, then you are spoilt for choice. Pisa, Florence, Siena and Assisi, to name a few, are all within an hour or two's drive, or easy to get to by train from the station in Castiglion Fiorentino. Cortona, the medieval hill town, is only fifteen minutes drive from Mulino dello Zoppo. This town has become renowned from the well read book, "Under The Tuscan Sun" by Frances Mayes, And we would highly recommend a visit during your stay.
For those who wish to experience the area at a more leisurely pace there are a selection of bicycles available for you to use. You can cycle or walk, by road or on tracks, to the small local store and cafe where necessary supplies can be bought. Naturally there are a choice of larger supermarkets in the local area for a more comprehensive shop.
