A car is a good idea to fully explore this spectacular area of Spain. The well known Costa Del Sol resorts of Marbella, Puerto Banus, Fuengirola, Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Malaga, etc are no more than a 20min drive away
For the more adventurous, Gibraltar (trips to N Africa) is about 60 mins, Ronda 90 mins, Granada & the Sierra Nevada’s 2hrs.
