The village of Parragil is situated in the mountains north west of Faro. Travelling time from Faro airport is approximately 20 minutes. Car hire is essential. There are a variety of unspoilt sandy golden beaches all within 20-25 minutes drive from the villa. Closest is Vilamoura where there is a large marina with a variety of bars, shops, and restaurants. All the major Algarve golf courses are within a short drive away. The historic town of Loule is 8km from the villa, while the popular golf resorts of Vilamoura and Quinta de Lago are a 10-15 minute drive away. There is easy access to the motorway A22 which provides the quickest route East or West to explore all the Algarve has to offer, and Spain is less than 1 hour to the East.
