Italy > Tuscany > Lunigiana > Ceserano
North eastern Tuscany, with its magical mountain peaks and woodland will expel your view of this unspoilt area. You will be able to visit the main areas of Florence, Siena Genova but still enjoy the dramatic scenery this area has to offer.
Located on the vineyard itself, this fantastic place offers the chance to be a part of the serenity and beauty Tuscany and it's surrounding areas has to offer. Enjoy the wine made on the grounds and soak up the Tuscan sun.
Just a taste of the places and things to do:
Lucca Many tourists pass Lucca on their way to Florence not realising it was once the capital of Tuscany. The city with its appealing main streets is a meeting place full of shops and cafes. No trip is complete without a walk round its impressive ramparts with its tree lined promenades offering fabulous views of the city. The annual music festival livens the main Piazza during September with renowned bands and artists. There is a large antiques market around the Duomo every third weekend of the month. To miss Lucca would be a shame.
Pisa Undoubtedly the leaning tower is its attraction, however there are elegant 16th century palaces along the banks of the river Arno. On 17th June there is a special event with the regatta of San Ranieri, an old contest held on the Arno with decorated boats covering the river followed by a costumed procession.
La Spezia Is situated on the coast with Italy's navel port. Drive along the coast and find your way to the gulf of poets and visit Porte Venere with Byron's grotto or take a cruise to the cinque terre villages carved out of the mountain face, stop and enjoy the excellent food and wine. |
