La Sella is a superb mountainside complex set in between Denia and Javea which is a 10 minute car ride to either,with Gata de Gorges and Jesus Probre villages only a 5 minute drive nearby. La Sella has its own restaurants and bars within walking distance with other sporting facilities available. The new Denia Marriot hotel that adjoins the par 72 championship golf course includes 2 restaurants, also a gym with on-site spa facilities.There are also other golf courses within the area.
Directions to E3 Los Pinares
Travelling from either Alicante or Valencia, take the AP7 road and exit toll at the junction signposted for Denia, Javea and Ondara. On leaving the toll turn right onto the N334, signposted Alicante. Take the first right onto the CV724 signposted Denia and Pedregeur. At first round about turn right signposted Denia. At next roundabout go straight on again signposted Denia. La Sella is approx 100m on the right. On entering La sella follow signs for The Club de Golf. When you reach a T junction turn left signposted La Sella Golf. Then take the first turning on your left between yellow coloured apartments, then second left. Apartment E3 is at the end of this lane. Go up last set of stairs on the right and E3 is door on the left at the top of these stairs.

General Info
The dining area contains an extend-able table and four chairs. The lounge area as well as sofa bed has two reclining chairs with foot stools, Coffee table and TV unit complete with cable remote control television, DVD and CD player. Leading from the lounge through a sliding French door is a large private furnished terrace, with stunning views of Mount Mongo and the surrounding almond and orange groves, which lead to the sea some 7kms away. Within one minutes walk of the property there are three good sized communal pools to choose from with several more available within the resort.
Golf Information The villa is part of the La sella golf & tennis complex. La Sella boasts an 18 hole Olazabal designed championship course which will challenge golfers of all abilities. A round will cost approximately 60 euros (subject to local variation). Tee off times can be booked on 0034 96 645 4252 or e-mail lasella@arrakis.es There are other top quality courses within half an hours drive including Oliva Nova to the north and two brand new courses at Terra Mitica (Benidorm) to the south. Another fifteen minutes in the car brings the championship courses of El Saler & El Bosque towards Valencia and Alicante & Bonalba near Alicante into play. There are also many nine hole courses nearby well worth a visit. These include Javea Calpe, Ifach and Don Cayo. This really is an excellent area to explore Spanish golf at its best!
The Costa Blanca/Valencia region
The apartment is ideally placed for exploring the Costa Blanca which has more recorded hours of sunshine per year than any other location in Spain.
The coast to the north, from Denia to Gandia, offers 20 kms of superb, wide, sandy beaches that reach the ‘Blue Flag’ standard whilst to the south you will find rugged cliffs, rocky coves and picturesque resorts such as Javia , Moraira, Calpe and Altea.
The beautiful city of VALENCIA with its historical and cultural attractions including the architectural wonders of the Science Park and L’OCEANOGRAFIC, the largest marine aquarium in Europe lies an hour to the north.
To the South the great family attractions of AQUALANDIA water theme park, MUNDOMAR the animal water park and TERRA MITICA, one of Europe's largest family theme parks, are all less than an hour away.
The surrounding area is covered with miles of vineyards, olive, orange and lemon groves. There are numerous breathtaking drives around the local mountain ranges each with their own numerous unspoilt Spanish villages to explore. It is a paradise for walkers and cyclists, or if you prefer the gentler approach, ideal for exploring by car. |
