The apartment is approximately 40 minutes from Malaga airport, it is also about 40 minutes from Gibraltar airport. Flights are obtainable from all leading airlines, Jet2 and Easyjet are especially good value.
Estepona is a town and municipality in the region of the Costa del Sol, southern Spain. It is located in the province of Málaga, part of the autonomous community of Andalusia. Estepona is renowned for its beaches, which stretch along some 21 km of coastline. You will find no shortage of restaurants, nightlife and of course golf courses. Estepona has an active fishing port, with daily auctions for a wide variety of seafood.
You will find the world famous Puerto Banus is only a short drive away. Fuengerola, Benalmadina, Mijas and Marbella are all within close proximity, whilst San Pedro is only a stones throw away.
The mountain villages of Benahavis and Ronda are well worth a visit.
Visit local monuments such as The Town Clock Tower, The San Luis Castle, The Churcho of Los Remedios, The original Bullring.

Golfers are extremely well catered for in Estepona with no less than 8 local courses in a short proximity, including Estepona Golf, Coto La Serena, La Duquesa Golf , Atalaya Golf, Atalaya Rosner, El Paraiso and not forgetting the most famous one in Europe, Valderrama.
Gibraltar is only a 40 minute drive away, where you can hop over to Morocco for a days shopping in the bazaars. There's plenty for the kids too, Mijas Aquapark is a great day out for the family for example.
The climate is another reason why Estepona remains popular with tourists, the yearly average being approx 23c.
