The lodge is a fantastic year-round destination as it is in an excellent position to benefit from the huge variety of summer and winter activities in the area. For winter, a very short car journey (10-15 mins) will take you to the north slope of Mont Tremblant ski area and it is also very near to the bustling south side resort. Snow mobile and dog sledding activities are also available in the area as an alternative to skiing.
In summer, guests can enjoy a choice of 6 excellent golf courses, set in beautiful scenery, which are all within a short drive of the site. Other pursuits include canoeing, cycling, white-water rafting and hiking. The surrounding area is beautiful and boasts a huge number of picturesque lakes and rivers. Guests may enjoy a visit to the stunning Mont Tremblant National Park, which is within easy reach from the lodge.
The ski lodge is situated in its own secluded, half-acre forest plot, with endless possibilities for exploration, outdoor pursuits and quiet relaxation. It also benefits from a circular driveway, so a number of cars can be accommodated with ease. The large balcony area at middle leve, which surrounds the property, has a BBQ and outside seating and benefits from gorgeous views over-looking a picturesque tributary river.
Golf
In close proximity to the ski-lodge you will find several excellent, award-winning golf courses which open between May - October. Le Maitre is a new course, designed by Fred Couples. Golf la Bete and Golf la Belle are twin, contrasting courses which are both pleasurable and challenging. La Diable and Le Geant, are excellent championship standard courses open to the public. Finally, Golf Royal Laurentien and Golf Le Manitou are also renowned local courses of real character. All courses are set in dramatic landscape and offer beautiful views. The courses are of sufficient range to suit golfers of all abilities and several have renowned golfing academies for anyone looking to improve their game through to absolute beginners. Reasonable pricing of green fees and the ease of club and cart hire makes this area an excellent choice for golfing.
Skiing
Our ski-lodge is in a perfect location, only a short drive from the north side of Mont Tremblant. The resort, world renowned and run by Intrawest, was voted No.1 in East North America, and boasts a network of 94 runs on 660 acres (suiting all abilities) combined with an extensive snow park with 18 acres of ramps and rails, together with a 130m half pipe. The 13 lift system handles around 27,000 skiers per hour, and will take you both all over the north side and also over the mountain tops to the slopes on the south side. Ski shops and hire outlets are plentiful and situated on both the north side and south side tourist village. There are also other local ski areas in the vicinity including Gray Rocks, with has an excellent reputation for schooling beginners. There is also access to Mont Blanc, the 2nd highest mountain in Quebec after Mont Tremblant itself. There is also the option available to ski at night at Mont St Sauveur, which is situated on the road to Montreal. For those seeking alternatives to Alpine skiing, there is also the option of extensive cross country trails throughout the area and you could also enjoy dog-sledding, snowmobiling, snow shoeing, ice climbing and tubing.
Travel
Mont Tremblant is 1 hour 30 mins from Montreal Airport (Trudeau) on good roads and 2-3 hours from Ottawa airport. We would suggest that car hire (or we can arrange for a driver) is essential if you are to enjoy the many facilities and scenery in the area.
Distances
Supermarkets and a wide variety of other shops are merely a 10-15 minute drive to St Jovite but there is also a good general store in the village. A short drive round the mountain to picturesque, pedestrian, Tremblant Resort Village, which will give you access to a wide variety of restaurants and bars. Without loosing its rustic charm, the village provides you with all the services and amenities you usually find in a bigger town.

At our luxury ski lodge / summer house, we aim to make your stay as pleasurable and relaxed as possible so there are a range of extra services we can provide. We can arrange for a chef or even complete catering for large corporate groups that stay at the property. Additionally we can also arrange for a driver/chauffeur if required to transport guests all over the resort and around the local area.
