Calpe and its surrounding area are filled with wonders for all age ranges and tastes, Calpe with its cultural status offers fine arts within dozens of art galleries, antiques galore and tiny craft shops with hand made goods filling the shelves.
For the sporty there is cycling, walking, scuba diving, tennis, golf and much more all just a few kilometres away. For the younger end we have the attractions of Mundomar sea world, Aqualandia Water Park and Terra Mitica theme park, or why not hop over to Ibiza from the port at Denia. Whatever you want from a holiday, Calpe has it all.
Not far from Calpe you will find the villages of Altea and Moraira, each with its own unique character, Calpe has some of the best beaches with facilities for all, including disabled access to the sea, funfairs for the children and a vast range of shopping arcades filled with the best of Spanish crafts, Moraira is one of the most beautiful towns virtually untouched by tourism due to its unique coastal position.
The two churches of Calpe are certainly worth a visit. Close to each other the Iglesia Antigua and the church Senora de las Nieves are both located in the centre of Calpe. Built in the 15th century the old church had been recondition many time over the past centuries, as the city had been attacked by pirates many times.
Calpe's archaeological museum can be found just opposite at the plaza de la villa shows various findings of the 4th until the 8th century. Alongside you find ruins of the Romans and the ruins of the bano de la reina, together with rests of an old tower the torreon de la peca. If you are further interested in local culture you should visit the museo fester in Calle Jose Antoni, which explains the local Calpe fiesta moros y cristianos and its traditions.
Calpe's two main beaches the cantal roig and the playa arenal are widely known for its fine sand. Together with the other two beaches, la fossa and the bay of Gasparet which also belongs to the city, Calpe offers many kilometers of excellent swimming and surfing possibilities, also for the golfers Calpe offers its own course, alongside the best courses on this stretch of coast.
Calpe is a town of a near perfect combination of romantic village together with sun and beach. In between Altea to the south and Javea to the north, Calpe is known for its rock called the penon de lfach. This massive rock has been inspiring people from everywhere to come and enjoy the nearly perfect view around the bays and the Costa Blanca.
There are 11 kilometres of sandy beaches and coves; Calpe's attractions have made the village a tourist destination of note for both national and international visitors.
To fully appreciate Calpe, the town and its surrounding area is best viewed from near the top of Oltá, the wide-topped mountain that stretches up behind the town. The view below you comprises a pleasant and surprisingly green landscape and 20 or so miles of distant coastline Olive groves and orange and lemon trees stretch towards the sea. The coastline to the north looks reassuringly pine fringed and unspoilt. The drive along the coast road to Moraira and you will see that these villas are very pleasantly situated with views of the sparkling Mediterranean and a series of small coves and beaches nearby.

The property is split into 2 separate units, these being a house of 3 bedrooms and a house of 2 bedrooms, both stand side by side amidst the palm trees and tropical gardens in a fantastic private detached plot, the house sleeps 14 in beds.
The accommodation of both units are set on 1 level, making it perfect for the older clientele or those who find stairs a problem, it comprises 2 large bedrooms, 1 with double bed and 1 with twin beds, all rooms are fully equipped, decorated and furnished to the highest standards and all have wardrobe and storage facilities, and personal safe, free wireless broadband Internet is also available for use in either villa.
The owners have left you wanting for nothing and have provided the very best in linen and towels; this villa shares one large main bathroom with bath and shower.
To the lounge you will find a further bed settee which can accommodate a further 2 people, also in the lounge we have colour TV equipped with English satellite coverage, a DVD/CD player with a selection of DVDs for you to enjoy, Play Station console, large log burning fireplace, seating for 6 people and a dining area with table.
Both villas have ceiling fans to cool you in the summer months and air conditioning.
The 3 bedroom unit is comprised of a double room, 1 twin room, and a large bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds; ideal for the children. This house has 2 bathrooms. To the lounge is a further TV and DVD system, large comfortable sofas and again, ceiling fans and air conditioning, off the lounge is a further full equipped kitchen.
To the rear of this unit, is a large open terrace with summer kitchen, including large built in BBQ, tables and chairs for 14+ for those perfect summer nights dining outside.
The house boasts many luxurious amenities, to the rear of the summer kitchen, we have a large private and enclosed garden area, which is host to palm trees to shade you during the day, a large private floodlit pool, touch control heated massage Jacuzzi spa and floodlights for those romantic Iberian nights under the stars! Outdoor shower and large open terraces, sun beds and seating for up to 14 persons and many sun blinds and canopies to escape the heat of the Mediterranean sun, the spa is also excellent for those who suffer from joint pain or lead a stressful lifestyle and may be enjoyed with the Spanish sun.
The villas also have fridge freezers, washing machines, iron and boards, toasters, microwaves, kettles and juicers. The agent is personally on hand to deal and assist with your holiday stay and can arrange car hire, personal airport collection, maid cleaning and baby-sitting services as required.
The agent will also advise on local restaurants and places of interest to visit. The villa has been decorated and equipped to an extremely high standard, leaving the user wanting for nothing, it has a private 10x5 meter pool for those long romantic Spanish nights with your favourite tipple under the stars and barbecue.
