The apartment is in a coastal village called Mar de Cristal. It is fairly lively in the summer months, with several bars and restaurants to offer, as well as beautiful beaches, and warm shallow water to bathe in; the Mar Menor.
The closest town is called Los Belones, which is full or bars, restaurants and shops. The apartment is just 4 km from the famous La Manga Club which as well as the wonderful golf, tennis and football facilities it houses, there are also many bars and restaurants.
La Manga Strip is about 10 minutes drive away, which is a strip of land, about 16 km long and crammed full of bars, restaurants, shops and beautiful beaches on both the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean Sea side.
There are more wonderful beaches at Calblanque which is about 10 minutes away. The historic city of Cartegena is about 15 minutes drive away, and with all of its shops and the wonderful harbour area, it is well worth visiting.
