This region of Spain is tucked in the south eastern corner and is one of the driest regions of Spain making it the perfect place for holidays throughout the year.
The area provides an excellent base for a quality carefree holiday. There are endless sandy beaches to choose from just a couple of minutes away. You can choose from the calm, warm and shallow waters of the Mar Menor which offer an ideal spot for families with small children as well as a whole host of water sports or the beaches of the Mediterranean offer wind surfers a good place to surf.
The area is also complemented by being relatively flat which makes it ideally placed for walking or cycling.
Although there are only one or two shops and restaurants close by, the is a bus which runs up and down the strip around every 45 minutes and is extremely cheap so this opens up your choices for national an international cuisine and more shops to choose from.
The region retains an authentic Spanish feel and the area boasts lots of small cafeterias and restaurants which serve local specialties
