The apartments are based on La Manga strip towards the north end. It has a few shops and restaurants withing walking distance but there is a bus which runs around every 45 minutes which can take you cheaply up and down the strip. There are lots of shops and restaurants up and down this strip of land so there is plenty of choice.
In this unique area you have the choice of the Mediterranean beaches or the Mar Menor (little sea) which is a large salt water lagoon. This lagoon offers tranquil warm waters which families with young children favour. This area also plays host to many watersports so if you fancy trying your hand at any of these, you are in the right place.
La Manga Club is just a 5 minute drive away which offers many championship golf courses, tennis courts, spa facilities and a further selection of bars and restaurants.
The region is still typically Spanish with small restaurants and cafeterias serving traditional tapas and other local dishes.
If you prefer not to hire a car, there are regular bus services to many destinations so you can explore further afield.
Other activities which are available in the area are horse riding, sailing, roller skating, go-karting and fishing. Whether young or old, families or couples, there is something for everyone.
