Nice, the capital of the French Riviera, is located in southern France on the Mediterranean coast, between Marseille and Genoa (Italy), and it is a good base for exploring the Cote d’Azur. It is an ideal destination for lovers of sun and sea, with touches of history thrown in for good measure. From Baroque architecture to Rococo Belle Époque, from Impressionism to the New Age, the Cote d'Azur has an impressive cultural heritage that adds to the glamour and beauty already inherent in the area.
Nice has a total of 19 museums and galleries, 32 classified historical monuments and 300 hectares of parks and gardens, woodland and green areas.
The town itself is characterised by narrow winding alleys, labyrinths and secret little squares, monuments, traditional restaurants, cafe terraces, and of course the magnificent Promenade des Anglais, the road which runs along the stunning sea front.
Nice boasts an exceptionally mild climate (Mediterranean). The weather is warm from May right through to October, with up to 12 hours of sunshine per day, and winter temperature is always mild, usually between 50-59°F (10-15°C). The crisp, clear winter days can also be a real delight!

Delightful, quiet apartment with terrace overlooking a silent inner court yard. The entrance hall of Villa Olga is decorated with original Art Dèco elements: frescoes on the walls, original tiles on the floor, stain glass windows and a broad marble staircase with wrought iron banister.
The apartment is at mezzanine (12 steps). In the spacious living room there are a well equipped kitchenette, table and 4 chairs, two sofa beds. The terrace (10 square m) has iron table and chairs, and two relaxing sun chairs. The bedroom has a “French double bed” (cm 140 x 200) and a fitted wardrobe. The apartment is provided with central electrical heating.
Villa Olga is conveniently located in a very quiet street in one of the most elegant areas of Nice, Quartier des Fleurs, just few blocks behind Hotel Negresco and Promenade des Anglais.The property is 20 minutes far from Nice airport and 10 minutes walk (or 3 bus stops) from railway station. The villa's garden is entered by electrically controlled gate. There is an entryphone.
Ten minutes walk (400 m) leads to the spectacular Promenade des Anglais, a celebrated, long promenade along the Mediterranean Sea, and to the beach. All the main attractions of Nice - Old Town, Chateau Hill, pedestrian precinct, Place Massena with gardens and fountains, the Port and its restaurants, all museums, galleries and concert halls are easy to be reached by a pleasant walk, as well as shops (supermarket at 50 m) bistrots, brasseries and cafès. Bus stop at 100 m.
