We are situated in the heart of Tuscany. Just a few minutes from the beautiful beaches of the Etruscan Coast. You could also reach very easily the most important art cities of the areas.
For example, Volterra in Hald an hour, S.Gimignano 45 minutes, Florence and Siena in 1 hour.
We are also in the wine area. In 5 km you could be in Bolgheri: the village where the best wine of the world are produced....do you know "Sassicaia"???? This is its place of birth.
Of course you could also taste our own wine and oil. You could buy both at the farm.

The Place, the Sea, Relax, Nature.
The Farm is situated in a quiet place, on one hill, surrounded by a wide park, vineyards and olive groves, typical of this area.
The particular closeness to the seaside allows the guests to spend entire days on the sandy beaches of the Etruscan Coast. Particularly of the zone: a wide zone of pinewood parallel to the beaches, ideal for picnics, long walks or jogging.
The coast, mostly sandy, is dotted with many bathing establishments where can be possible to rent daily beach umbrellas and lying-chairs, alternated to large parts of free beach.
To remember: a particular beach with free access for animals and an other for the lovers of nudism. Also famous, and only 10 minutes from the Farm, the "White Beaches": famous for the particular white sand and the crystalline water, compared to those of the Caraibbean Sea and today set for photographic services and films.
Coming back from the preferred every day activities, the Farm welcomes the appreciate Guests in the wide park with swimming pool and lying-chairs: we are sure that everyone will be able to find a corner of peace to lie in the sun or to read in total relax, even drinking the good red wine of the house.
Sightseeing
Besides the most famous art cities of Tuscany, the Farm is surrounded by many small villages where it is possible to find again the "Quiet Living", the traditions and the culture that only in Tuscany you will only be able to find.
Here some suggestions.
Bibbona, 3 Km from Casale Aia: a nice photografic souvenir.
Casale Marittimo, 10 minutes of car: perfectly restored ancient village on a hill looking towards the sea.
Castiglioncello, 9 Km from the Farm: it offers, besides the equipped beaches, one beautiful walk all along the seaside, particularly evocative also in the months of low season.
Bolgheri, nearby too: native land of the G.Carducci poet and of the well known wines D.O.C. such as “Sassicaia”. To admire the most beautiful avenue of cypresses of Europe, best photografic subject of all the tourists. The ancient village where to stop to drink a good red wine even accompanied from “crostini” or “bruschetta”.
Cecina Mare, 5 minutes far: bathing establishments, free beaches and one immense choice of restaurants with speciality of fish and of pizzerie. Very beautiful is the pinewood along the seaside for walks and jogging.
Castello di Querceto : ancient medieval village... nice atmosphere.
Populonia: for who loves archeology.....visit the Etruscan sites, then to the return a walk in the alleys of the castle.
Venturina : thermal center and thermal lake to spend a day in total relax... in approximately 15 minutes of car.
Children
Casale Aia is the preferred place for the children. In fact the wide park with swimming pool is perfect for their games and the parents could feel sure because they are far from danger. Also the sandy beaches, 5 minutes by car, are the preferred one from the families. In fact the degrading depth of the sea is ideal for the bathing of the children and inexperts. In the neighborhood of the Farm there are 2 parks for children, one aquatic and the other thematic. |
