Situated just a 45 minute drive away from Faro airport, Carvoeiro is best known for its number of little eye-catching beaches. The main beach is situated right in the centre of town, offering a choice of cafes, bars and market stalls and live entertainment in the evenings. Numerous other pleasant beaches, such as Benagil, Carvalho, Centianes and Marinha can be found nearby. Most are sheltered by high cliffs which have been eroded over centuries to create caverns and fascinating rock formations.
Portuguese cuisine can be found everywhere, from traditional national dishes to regional menus. Restaurants line the road to the town beach and the main square boasts several fine eating establishments.
For sports enthusiasts, there are two championship golf courses (Gramacho and Vale da Pinta) and a tennis centre to the west of the village.

The villa has 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, 1 twin and 1 double bedroom share a bathroom on the ground floor. A further 2 double bedrooms and 2 twins sharing 2 bathrooms are on the second floor and a double master bedroom with bathroom on the top floor with double doors leading to a private terrace overlooking the private pool.
There are several lounges within the house all with TV's, the main lounge has a dining area with doors leading to the pool and garden area. There is a fully fitted kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher.
We would strongly recommend hiring a car to make the most of your stay in the Algarve and are able to assist you with this service. |
