Villa Almanxar faces south and enjoys the sun all day long, although there are plenty of shaded areas around the pool and barbecue terrace. The small lawned garden is by the pool.

Situated just a 45 minute drive away from Faro airport, Carvoeiro is best known for its number of little eye-catching beaches. The main beach is situated right in the centre of town, offering a choice of cafes, bars and market stalls and live entertainment in the evenings. Numerous other pleasant beaches, such as Benagil, Carvalho, Centianes and Marinha can be found nearby. Most are sheltered by high cliffs which have been eroded over centuries to create caverns and fascinating rock formations.
Portuguese cuisine can be found everywhere, from traditional national dishes to regional menus. Restaurants line the road to the town beach and the main square boasts several fine eating establishments.
For sports enthusiasts, there are two championship golf courses (Gramacho and Vale da Pinta) and a tennis centre to the west of the village.

There is a fully fitted kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer.
The master double bedroom is air-conditioned with an ensuite bathroom on the first floor and a breakfast terrace with partial views of the sea.
There are two twin bedrooms on the lounge level, one with ensuite W.C. and a further bathroom.
Stairs lead down from the hallway to a twin bedroom with ensuite and a double bedroom also with ensuite. There is a second kitchen with a fridge and a second lounge with satellite/cable tv. Patio doors open from the lounge to the garden and pool.
There is a large mature fruit garden by the pool and fresh fruit can be picked when in season by guests.
Although not essential, we do recommend hiring a car to make the most of your stay in the Algarve and are able to assist you with this service. |
