Turkey > Aegean Region > Bodrum > Gumusluk
The apartment is situated in a quiet fishing village which is home to several waterside restaurants that are famous for their fish, a beach, quaint Turkish shops ideal for traditional gifts and souvenirs and historical sites.
Nearby are the 3 main towns of Bodrum, Turgutries and Gumbet.
Bodrum is a busy resort which suits the majority of people. There are a large selection of restaurants, bars and shops to keep you entertained although if you want to relax you can have a soothing Turkish Bath.
Turgutries is a slightly quieter and more cosmopolitan town which is fantastic for watching the sun set whilst sampling the local Turkish Beer.
Gumbet is a lively resort suited for those who want a busy fun packed holiday of watersports, bars and clubs opening until the early hours.
Although hiring a car will enable you to see what the beautiful Bodrum Peninsula has to offer, the above towns, and more, are accessible by the regular bus service (dolmus) which run until the early hours in the summer months and at a very reasonable price.
Whatever you choose, this area really does suit everyone, whether its a lively holiday or a quiet getaway break in the sun, or even a mixture of both. |
